Costa Rica C plus® Chitosan, is the new and modern form to control overweight because it is the first intelligent dietetic fiber which selectively clears fats from food. The biomolecular structure present in C Plus inhibits the digestion of fats in the human body, the effect is guaranteed from the first dose. C plus® Chitosan is the first slimming agent whose active ingredient that was patented in the United States (US Patent #6.130.321). Mechanism of action
Quitine is a polysaccharide that is naturally found in the shell of some crustacean such as crabs, prawn etc. This substance is the precursor of Chitosan C PLUS®. Once in the stomach it gets positive charge by the action of the acid pH of the stomach, at this moment it is able to bind with the negative charges of fats (acting like a magnet ) and thus hindering their reuptake. In the intestine the emulsion Chitosan-fats it transformed into a gel which cannot be trapped by digestive enzymes produced by the pancreas; in this form fats are transported with feces. High density Chitosan carries about 10 times its own weight which means that it is able to eliminate approximately 40 grams of fat and at the same time saving about 400 Kcalories per day.
Bile acids, synthesized from cholesterol of the liver and drained into the intestine are captured by Chitosan. For this reason, the blood rate of total cholesterol is reduced and the relation cholesterol HDL/total cholesterol improves .

Adverse effects
Very rarely flatulence .

Contraindications
Do not use during pregnancy or lactation.
Do not use in persons who are allergic to sea food.
